I started Circle of Threads as a way to give my random notes, thoughts, research, and saved resources a place to live and take shape. It’s my personal space to revisit and reflect, and even better if others find the information helpful and inspiring along the way.
At its heart, Circle of Threads is driven by my passion for sustainable fashion. This blog is a space where I explore everything from the basics of materials and their impact on the environment, to practical ways we can all make fashion more circular and reduce waste. Through thoughtful discussions on topics like conscious living, mindful consumption, and building awareness about the fashion industry’s environmental impact, I hope to inspire others to think differently about the clothes they wear and the choices they make.
About me
Hi! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Vanda and I currently live in Virginia. I had the chance to work for a sustainable fashion brand, which gave me a behind-the-scenes look at how clothes are made thoughtfully. It also opened my eyes to how much work is still needed, especially in addressing textile waste. Getting involved in conversations about circularity, resale, rental, recycling, and more has helped me better understand the global textile waste problem. It also gave me insight into its challenges. I’m passionate about exploring solutions and sharing what I learn through this blog, hoping to inspire others to join me in making fashion more sustainable.
